Maribeth has lived in Colorado since the early 80’s, first living in Aspen after moving from her native Long Island, New York. Her love of labyrinths grew from associations she made with Chris and Larry Katzenmeyer (among others) at Mile Hi Church in Lakewood, Colorado beginning in 2007.

In the winter of 2011, Maribeth participated in a Board Retreat for Veriditas, and later that year traveled to Chartres, France, for a pilgrimage with a group from Mile Hi Church. It was in Chartres that her awareness of the mystical qualities of labyrinths emerged.

Since that time, Maribeth has been involved in building three labyrinths, including two that are included in the Legacy Labyrinth network: La Falda, Argentina and Val Marie, Saskatchewan, Canada.

She has been a member of the Legacy Labyrinth Board of Directors since 2018.

Professionally, Maribeth is a licensed mental health therapist in the Grand Junction, Colorado school district. She works with students of all ages.  One of her joys is to introduce students to different healing modalities, and to see them grow and change in profound ways. In the future she hopes to incorporate labyrinths into her work with the students and their families.
